Pininfarina’s Ferrari 458 Italia is imagined as a Spyder-model. Ferrari revealed details about the Ferrari 458 Italia today.
Ferrari’s new 458 Italia was unveiled the day before, and we already have speculation about what a 458 Italia Spyder might look like.
It’s not difficult to see the Pininfarina-designed 458 Italia being a topless model. The car is a Ferrari mid-engine Ferrari and its sloping rear roofline almost calls for a Spyder derivative. This image makes it all seem more likely and literally makes it possible.
Details about the new 458 Italia are covered in an earlier article, so they don’t need to be repeated here. Ferrari named the 458 after Italy because it is synonymous with style, creativity flair, passion, and cutting-edge technology. It may be true, but Ferrari is more easily able to describe it.
Ferrari will now name all of its cars after specific places. It did with the California model, and it is now revealing the 458 Italia. There is nothing wrong with this, but I am curious about other locations that would make great Ferrari names.
