2023 Chevrolet Corvette Configurator Updated. Still Doesn’t Show Z06

2023 Chevrolet Corvette Configurator Updated. Still Doesn’t Show Z06

The C8 Z06 will go on sale this summer. It starts in two weeks.

Chevrolet is slow to finalize details for the C8 Corvette Z06. The supercar debuted in October 2021 and goes on sale this summer. We still do not know the price. We could be very, very close at finding out. Chevrolet has redesigned its Corvette website and online configurator to make room for the Z06, which is still available online in the future cars section.

This means that we can’t yet configure the Z06 to your heart’s content, but the Stingray has no limit. Let’s first discuss the Corvette video timeline at the top. We start with the 2023 Stingray and then we move on to the C7 Stingray of 2014, the Z06, 1994 ZR-1 1987 Convertible. Then, we will go back to the 1977 Corvette, 1967 Corvette-427, and the original C1 in 1953. But wait a minute, Chevrolet. We were given two C4 models (1987-1994), but you completely ignored the C6 Corvette between 2005 and 2013. The 638-horsepower C6 ZR1 is worth mentioning?

The Stingray’s coupe and convertible options are listed on the configurator. However, it is slightly more expensive than when we last reviewed prices in March 2022. Chevrolet has increased the mandatory destination fee from $1,395 to $61,900. The C8 is now priced at $63,295, which includes the 490-horsepower version, GT1 power seats, and Bose stereo. This is not a basic machine. You can click every option on the 3LT model and you will sail past $100,000.

Fans and potential Corvette buyers are asking themselves the question, “Will the new Z06 also have a six-figure price tag?” It should be able to surpass the most expensive Stingray in up-spec trims, but may begin at five-digits. Chevrolet stated previously that the price difference between the C8 Z06 Stingray and Stingray would be comparable to C7 models. This would indicate a Z06 starting cost of $93,000. However, the Chevy executive also stated that official pricing information would soon be available. It was December 2021, which is close to six month ago.

We think Chevrolet will drop the Z06 price, considering the 2023 Stingray is now in production, and the summer around the corner. It will be a crazy 670-hp supercar that starts under $100,000. Keep watching.
