Let’s now talk about the power boost. It’s not much, but 660 horsepower (492 Kilowatts) is now the norm for the GT’s twin-turbo V6 engine. This represents a 13-hp increase. The engine’s calibration has been updated to create a wider torque curve. Aero changes to the buttress air conduits increase the airflow by 50%.

The larger intercoolers allow for more air to flow. A new Akrapovic titanium exhaust system gives the car a richer tone and reduces nine pounds. Ford seems to be keen to keep the GT thrilling in the face supercar competition. This is thanks to the increased suspension dampening in track mode.

All this applies to a very tiny portion of the motoring populace. Ford continues to produce very few GTs each year, even though they are still quite expensive.
