When the Cybertruck becomes available, this trailer can serve as the perfect trailer.
Teardrop campers were named for their unique shapes, especially from the sides. Koreans Kyung Hyun and Jieun designed a new type of teardrop camper trailer that could make a great pair with your Tesla Cybertruck, when it becomes available.
The Polydrop is a polygonal trailer with a name that resembles the all-electric Tesla truck. The Polydrop is not a copy of the Tesla. It was first produced in 2017 and weighed only 680 pounds (308 kilograms). It was torched by a Jieun small car for one year.
The Polydrop measures 13 feet 7 inches (4.14 m) in length, 6 ft (1.8m) in width, and 6ft (3in) high with a roof rack (1.9m) in place. Ground clearance is 15 inches (0.4m). A Timbren axleless, independent suspension system with a Timbren axle is used to keep bombs away. It should be comfortable on less than ideal roads.
The Polydrop is made from aluminum and is light and resistant to rust. The dry weight of the base P17 Essential ranges from 820 to 1,100 pounds (372 to 499 kilograms) depending on what accessories are added.
The Polydrop is insulated up to 8.7 inches (0.2 m) thick and has an R-41 insulation rating. Warm lighting will greet you as soon as you enter through the gullwing door. You can also add a skylight or bug screen to improve ventilation.
The interior and exterior have plenty of storage space, while the rear is reserved to house the foldout kitchenettes. You can add solar panels to the roof depending on which Polydrop model you choose for more power to the LiFePO4 battery (1.2kWh).
For the P17 Essential variant of the Polydrop camper trailer, it starts at $16,990. This has a lead-time of six months. The all-electric P17A1 is available at $28,990.
