Yes, please.
You already know that we love the Hyundai Sonata. The car does a great job and there is no doubt about its quality. Next year will see a facelifted version. Kolesa.ru asked a fascinating question: Does it make sense to have another Sonata derivative?
Although it may seem a bit wild, we think the Sonata lifted looks great. This rendering shows the standard sedan in what appears to be a higher trim level (judging from the wheels), and raises its suspension for an off-roady appearance. The artist also included the aluminum protecting panels, diffusers and black wheel arches.
After seeing the cross-sedan, Kolesa.ruloves to refer it, our first thought was the Volvo S60 Cross Country. It was a limited-edition Swedish 4×4 sedan that was produced in 2015. Each American dealership received one car. Although technically the same as the V60 Cross Country, it featured a traditional sedan shape with a modified suspension.
We are excited to see the Sonata’s facelift next year. We doubt that major visual changes will be made to the sedan from South Korea, which is already one of its most attractive vehicles. There might be some minor tweaks on the tech side but we don’t anticipate anything major. A refreshed Palisade SUV will follow the Sonata’s update.
