Don’t feel ashamed to love this creation.
The new Audi RS6 Avant looks great. It’s a powerful car with 591 horsepower (441kilowatts) under its hood. This station wagon can carry up to five people, and as long as it fits in the small rear cargo area, it can also transport a lot of things. What if you found a wild sale of 1980’s arcade cabinets and pinball machines? You might be able fold the seats and slide Galaga into the back. But forget about claiming Pole Position or the Terminator pinball machines. The prices are so high that you won’t be able get home in the time required to clear the RS6 space for a return trip.
A truck or, in this case, a Ute is what you need. It is unlikely Audi would have the courage to create such a vehicle from scratch, but X–Tomi Design on Facebook allows us to see what an RS6-based Ute might appear like. This rendering is sure to offend Audi purists, but we like it. This is a great creation.
No, loves this. This is everything we love about the RS6, but with more cargo space. The RS6 can easily accommodate all three of the ’80s gaming icons in one trip. And if you don’t plan on shopping for antiques, the RS6 will be even lighter thanks to a substantial weight reduction due to the removal of over half of the roof.
Unfortunately, Bigfoot is more likely to be caught than seeing an Audi drive a Ute crazy fast. We can still dream about it. The world has too many dumb pickup trucks with ridiculous lift kit. This is the one that we would take to New York if it was possible.
