Ferrari unveils Unconventional 488 Pista Spider Design by Ferrari Tailor

This one is all about subtlety.

Ferrari’s Tailor Made personalization allows selected customers to completely customize their Ferrari. Ferraris are unique machines. But, a select few can customize their car with a variety of leathers, leathers and colors. The latest creation of the program is a blue Ferrari 488 Pista Spider, with a subdued interior.

Blu Elder exterior paint was applied to the car. It can appear as if it has both a matte or polished finish, depending on how it is lit. A black Nero Setoso Livery was added by the customer. This is a pair of stripes that run across the Spider’s center. A long, narrow, metal Italian flag is another exterior accent.

Ferrari badge. The customer kept it simple inside, adding glossy Blu Elder accents and F1-style buttons to the center console buttons. The headrest features gold Ferrari logos, brown Cordura side inserts for the seats and wings, as well as black leather seats with Cordura checker panel inserts. The personalization service offered by Ferrari doesn’t affect the vehicle’s performance. It focuses instead on creating unique models for customers.

In 2018, the 488 Pista Spider was introduced as Ferrari’s 50th convertible. This drop-top version also featured the most powerful V8 Ferrari has ever produced, a twin-turbocharged, 3.9-liter V8. It generates 720 horsepower (536 Kilowatts) as well as 568 pound-feet (707 Newton-meters), of torque. The Pista Spider can travel 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.85 seconds. The top speed of the Pista Spider is coupe-matching 211mph (340 km/h). These are impressive performance numbers for a car that weighs in at 200 pounds (91 kg) more than the non-convertible model. Future Ferrari customers will have plenty of options for customizing new models in the future. According to reports, the Ferrari Purosangue is being developed as a hybrid supercar powered by V6.
