Mansory cannot resist the Mercedes lineup and gives the Mercedes-Maybach GLS a slight redesign. The exterior conceals the larger changes that are under the hood. The SUV gets a huge boost in power. Mansory also made improvements to the interior.
Mansory modifies the ECU, adds new turbochargers and installs a sports exhaust system. These upgrades increase the power to 820 horsepower (603 Kilowatts) or 722 pound-feet (980 Newton meters) of torque.
The improved Merceds-Maybach GLS can travel 186 mph (300 km/h), which is well within Mansory limits. In just 4.4 seconds, the SUV can reach 62 mph (100 km/h). Mansory loves to change the power boost. The tuner gives the model a complete overhaul, with almost every component available in carbon or with carbon accents.
Mansory adds a front apron, integrated front lip and new LED daytime running lamps to the GLS. Mansory doesn’t alter the grille design, but instead offers to darken, lighten, or finish the piece in carbon.
The GLS tuned gets new side skirts, while the SUV’s rear receives a new diffuser. The side mirrors are now covered with carbon caps. The GLS also includes a bull bar, which protects the forts and rear bumpers. Mansory finishes the transformation with a set of unique 24-inch wheels.
Mansory offers customers a choice of full leather or 3D leather embossing. The interior features a leather-carbon steering wheel, as well as carbon inlays. This tuner’s build is slightly more subtle than the others.
