2023 Range Rover Sport SVR Seen Closer With Less Camo

In May, the Range Rover Sport will be revealed along with the rest of the lineup.

Land Rover will soon unveil the Range Rover Sport, but another prototype in SVR form has been spotted. The license plates on the prototype suggest that it was seen in Dubai. These spy photos show some details underneath the thinned camouflage.

This Range Rover Sport is sporting its SVR skin, unlike the previous Range Rover Sport sighting. This is evident by the quad-piped exhaust pipes. The redesigned bumpers, headlights and taillights can be seen on both the front and rear fascias. But if you want to see more, then turn your attention towards the new Range Rover.

The upcoming RR Sport model is very similar to the previous model due to its evolutionary design approach. However, the underpinnings of the new Range Rover Sport are totally different. The Range Rover Sport lineup uses the same MLA Flex architecture as the new Land Rover Range Rover.

We see the top-spec Range Rover Sport SVR trim. It will use the 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 engine of BMW. This motor is capable of 615 horsepower (or 452 kilowatts in the X5 M Competition). We expect the Range Rover Sport SVR will be able to compete with other European SUVs.

Land Rover has already shown a shadowy rendering of the Range Rover Sport. According to the company, “the global unveil will include a dramatic debut” which will “continue its daring exploits by undertaking a unique challenge in its launch.”

Also, the Range Rover Sport will be revealed in its entirety on May 10, 2022, with the SVR at the top.
