Audi has revealed the facelift for 2015 A7/S7 Sportback, which will go on sale in the second half of the summer.
The front has seen a slight makeover, with the A7/S7 duo receiving a modified single-frame grille and a reshaped bumper. Matrix LED headlights have now become optionally available and include dynamic turn signals as standard on the taillights. We only notice minor changes to the back, such as a revised bumper and updated exhaust pipes.
There aren’t many changes inside, but Audi has introduced new materials like the aluminum/Beaufort Walnut inlay and Valcona Leather. The revised color palette also includes five colors for the seats.
The updated A7 Sportback is available with Audi’s V6 3.0 TCI Clean Diesel. It produces 272 PS (200kW) and 218 PS (160kW) in the more economical “ultra” version. It returns 50 mpg US, 60 mpg UK, or 4.7 Liters/100 km with CO2 emissions of just 122g/km.
The 3.0 TDI biturbo has 320 PS (235 kW) and is mated with an 8-speed tiptronic transmission gearbox. All other engines have a 7-speed S tronic. Audi also offers a 4.0 TFSI engine with 450 PS (331kW) for its hotter S7 derivative. This engine benefits from cylinder on-demand technology.
Audi has updated MMI Navigation plus with MMI Touch. It now features an Nvidia graphics processor, and is standard with Internet connectivity via LTE. Audi’s pre-sense safety system, night vision, adaptive cruise controller with stop & go function and active lane assistance are some of the available assistance systems.
The A7/S7 facelift sales are expected to begin late in the summer with a German starting price of 51,300 EUR (for the A7) and 82,300 EUR (for the S7)).
