One possibility is the Dodge electric muscle car concept.
Dodge will present three worldwide product reveals from August 15 through 17 on Woodward Avenue in metro Detroit. The debuts will chart the future of the brand.
Dodge has not provided any details on the premieres. The company will announce the premieres on Monday, August 15. It will be related to its existing muscle cars. According to the company, Tuesday’s announcement will be a “gateway” muscle announcement. The company will announce a future machine on Wednesday, August 17.
“All I can tell you is that the future of Dodge will be displayed during Dodge Speed Week. We’re opening our garage doors for our fans to take a look at it.” It’s going be an electric summer at Dodge,” stated Tim Kuniskis (chief executive officer of Dodge brand).
The reference to “electric summer” may be a hint at one of the vehicles that will debut during that week. There was a report in May that Dodge intended to unveil the concept for its future muscle car, an EV, before the Woodward Dream Cruise on Aug 20. Kuniskis wanted the vehicle to be unveiled earlier but there was an industry factor that prevented it.
According to reports, the concept for an electric muscle car is very similar to which will be produced in 2024. The vehicle’s goal is to offer a machine capable of outperforming a Tesla Model S Plaid. The model could be capable of reaching 60 mph (96 km/h) in just two seconds.
The teaser Dodge released for its electric muscle car showed a vehicle which appeared to blend elements from the late 1960s, early ’70s challenger and charger. The old-school fratzog triangular emblem was also revived. The clip shows an all-wheel drive burnout. This suggests that the car could have at least two motors.
Stellantis, Dodge’s parent company, CEO Carlos Tavares provided some more information about the electric muscle car. It has a “sound you cannot imagine” and “something that is surprising.”
