This is good news for the fans of the nameplate, but American Honda Motor Co., Inc. has confirmed that they won’t be receiving the spied car – not the exact one you see here.
Honda is not the first to create a North American-specific version of its vehicle nameplate. The Honda Odyssey minivan currently comes in two versions, one larger than the other. This has been true since the 1990s.
We see a bright future for Honda’s subcompact crossover. According to Honda, the automaker has previously stated that the HR-V will be produced more as it eliminates the fit, Civic Coupe and MT Accord. It is now the brand’s “new gateway model” and offers significant utility, performance and value.
