Although the tiny, rugged EV isn’t fast enough to break lap times for most people, customers were quick to spend their money to purchase one.

Although the Citroen Ami is not the most beautiful electric vehicle, 21,000 people from nine countries have purchased the EV since it was launched in April 2020. Limited-run My Ami Buggy, which was only available online, is the latest version. The little machine was loved by many and sold out in less than 18 minutes.

Citroen claims that all 50 units are available for purchase. My Ami Buggy They were sold in just 17 minutes and 28 secs. The fastest customer to place an order online and pay was able complete the transaction in just 2 minutes 53 seconds.

This customer will be gifted one of 50 personalized My Ami Buggy units, each individually numbered. It will be delivered to the address the customer specifies in the second part of August.

The My Ami Buggy was a hit with the public, especially after the concept version was released in December 2021. Citroen says that nearly 1,800 people expressed their desire for one.

The Citroen My Ami Buggy production model has a dark-green body and bright yellow accents. It comes with a set bronze-colored steelies and black center caps.

The “doors” were one of the differences from the concept model. The production My Ami Buggy has tubular doors instead of the open sides found on the show car. The My Ami Buggy’s top has a canvas roof which can be removed and stored behind the seats to provide an open-top offroad experience.

With current exchange rates, the base price for the Citroen My Ami Buggy is EUR9,790. This amounts to around $10,300. The electric motor is 8 HP (6 kilowatts) and draws power from a 5.5-kilowatt hour battery pack. The range is up to 43.5 miles (70 km).
