Swiss Company Offers A Zero-Star Suite at a Gas Station

Here are some unique ways to see Switzerland.

These days, people joke that you can take your partner out on a costly date to a gas station. Why go on a date when there is an option to rent a room?

This unusual accommodation is offered by Null Stern Hotel in Switzerland. The Null Stern Anti-Idyllic Suite is a hotel room that’s located in the vicinity of a Saillon fuel station. It has no walls or roof to keep you safe from the outside elements.

The Anti-Idyllic Suite’s listing states:

The suite’s anti-idyllic location is on the side of a thoroughfare. This new version is not intended to be a resting place, but rather a place where you can reflect on current affairs, such as the economy, security, and equality. This space is open to individuals, businesses, schools, and associations. This space allows you to make time for yourself and to reflect on your life.

The Null Stern Anti-Idyllic Suite, one of the hotel rooms offered by the company, is one of its “Zero Star” rooms. The majority of accommodations are located in beautiful locations with a panoramicview of the alps. However, the roadside accommodation is definitely out of the ordinary.

It’s not cheap, but it gives you the right to a welcome drink, local organic finger food, breakfast pastry, fresh local juice and the services of an butler.

If there is bad weather, the booking includes a reservation at Hotel des Bains de Saillon, with walls, roof and air-conditioning.
