Polestar has revealed the US pricing for the 2023 Polestar 2 and other updates to go along with the new model year. The numbers show an increase, but it is important to note that Polestar has given significant updates to the fastback EV, including an increase of vehicle range. The price of the 2023 Polestar2 Single Motor is now $48,400. This represents a $1200 increase over before. The Dual Motor version now starts at $51,900. Prices include the $1,400 destination fee and $7,500 Federal Tax Credit.
The 2023 Polestar 2 Dual Motor is the only model to see an increase in range. It has a range of 260 miles US EPA. Software improvements have resulted in an 11-mile increase over the 2022 model year. EPA still rates the 2023 Polestar 2 Single Motor model at 270 miles. Recent updates to the Polestar 2 have been made for the new model year, but not all are available in the US. The US-spec Polestar 2 will feature an upgraded heat pump, improved design options, and a more sophisticated air quality sensor.
The Polestar 2 now comes in “Space” metallic black, and a new “Jupiter”, metallic shade. The standard 19-inch and optionally 20-inch wheels were redesigned. A new ventilated Nappa leather option in light grey “Zinc”, which is paired up with new Light Ash wood trim, is now available inside.The Performance Pack has a new software upgrade that improves its performance for the model year 2023. The car will get 68 horsepower and 15 lb ft more torque with the upgrade. The Performance Pack will only be available for the dual motor variant. However, it will also be available as an upgrade to existing or future dual-motor cars with the Performance Pack.
