The V8’s ability to breathe better is enhanced by a Shaker hood, and the headlight-mounted Air Catcher air ducts.

Every year since 2010, Mopar has introduced a limited edition hand-customized Fiat Chrysler Automobiles product. This time, the focus is on the 2017 Dodge Challenger. Mopar’s team creates a civilized, yet powerful machine rather than creating a muscle car like the SRT Demon.

Mopar’s 80th Birthday is being celebrated by the Mopar Custom Shop crew who are building 80 Challengers in a mix of Pitch Black, Contusion Blue and 80 in a mixture of Pitch Black, Billet Silver and another 80 in a Pitch Black/Contusion Blue combination. The Mopar Custom Shop applies the colors manually for true craftsmanship. The belt line is where the shades transition, making it very subtle. A hand-painted Mopar 392 logo is found on the driver’s side front quarter panel.

Buyers will find the 6.4-liter V8 under the hood. It produces 485 horsepower (362 Kilowatts) as well as 475 pound-feet (644 Newton meters) directly from the manufacturer. Mopar parts allow it to breathe better in this application, thanks to the Shaker Hood scoop and the Air Catcher headlight mounted cold-air intake.
