BMW M3 Touring renders Sedan into a Menacing Wagon

You can expect a debut in 2022.

BMW announced the M3 Touring model’s development over a year ago. It was announced alongside the first teaser which showcased a shadowed section of its revamped rearend. Numerous spy shots have been taken of the M3 while it was being tested. The car’s design is not much of a mystery. Motor.es shows the styling by removing the camouflage wrap.

The M3 Touring will be arriving with the M3 sedan’s bold, bold grille design and sharp-edged front end. Spy shots have shown this. The rear is where most of the design changes take place. The long roof and liftgate transform greenhouse into a performance machine, making it more practical than its four door sibling. Although the official rendering does not show the rear, we have seen much of it in the company’s first teaser. The lower fascia is identical to that on the sedan.

The M3 Touring’s powertrain will be shared with the M3 sedan. This means that the wagon can produce 503 horsepower (375kilowatts) depending on its twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter straight-6 engine. All-wheel drive will be possible. However, purists will be happy to know that a manual transmission will also be an option. This will only be available for the entry-level rear-wheel-drive model.

Although the BMW M3 Touring appears ready for production, its official debut won’t be until next year. The M3 Touring will likely be on sale in 2023. However, Americans who want to buy an official M3 wagon will be disappointed to find that the body style is not available in the US. It is not planned to be brought to the US by the company, so it will likely take a while before you can import one.
