The Velar’s front fascia has been updated and new wheels have sharpened it.
The Range Rover Velar looks great. The luxury SUV, which was introduced earlier this year at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show (https://www.motor1.com/news/138201/range-rover-velar-geneva-live/), combines stylish elements from the Evoque and a little bit of offroad capability from Ranger Rover Sport. One tuner believes it will make the Range Rover even more beautiful.
Urban Automotive, a UK-based shop, has released the first images of its repainted Range Rover Velar. The upgrades include new carbon fiber rear and front bumpers, an exposed carbon fiber rear splitter with a clear coating, rear diffuser, rear air intakes and front air intakes. There are also premium daytime running lamps integrated into the side intakes and satin black billet aluminum exhaust finishers.
Exterior is finished in a two tone satin black with gloss black roof. It pairs well with a matching set gloss black 23-inch forged staggered wheels that have properly extended wheel arches. The package is still subtle but aggressive.
Urban Automotive claims that production of the Velar upgrade will start in November and deliveries will take place the next month. According to Urban Automotive, 14 vehicles have already been ordered. The package price will be added to the base Velar’s $50,895 price. There is no word on this.
The same turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 247 horsepower (184 megawatts) will be used under the hood. The most costly 3.0-liter supercharged engine, which produces 280 horsepower (283 kW), is available for purchase at $65,195. The upgrade package is not available for the diesel model. The diesel-powered Velar is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that produces 180 horsepower (134 kW) and an MSRP at $57,195.
