Volkswagen plans to launch a Passat CC with five seats.
Originally only available as a four-seater, the Passat CC now offers an optional rear bench. This is in response to customer demand. Volkswagen claims that the Passat CC will now have a rear bench to make it more practical.
The rear bench is priced at EUR100 and features three head restraints as well as a center three point seat belt and a symmetrically split folding backrest.
The Passat CC can be equipped with a variety of engines, as you may already know. There are three options: a 2.0-liter TSI that produces 200 horsepower, a 3.6 liter V6 FSI that produces 280 horsepower and a 2.0 liter TDI that produces 140 horsepower.
