It’s amazing to watch a 4-ton wrecking ball smash cars in slow-mo

This is not something you can do at home.

Christmas is approaching and here are some ways to overcome it. Find a free, large parking lot in your area and start buying old cars to scrape. A ball and professional recording equipment are also required. A big ball. Miley Cyrus’ big ball.

You can find more instruction in the 12-minute video attached. Dan and Gav from The Slow Mo Guys Youtube channel explain how to properly destroy cars using a 4,082-kilogram (9,000-pounds) wrecking ball. One of those toys that can destroy buildings.

More slow-mo fun:

A Buick Park Avenue sedan is the first victim. It appears that it is nearly completely destroyed by the wrecking ball. The Honda Element follows, but there is a catch. As you probably know, it does not have a door pillar. It is remarkably less damaged than the body structure, and it flips over due to its stronger roof and higher height.

BMW enthusiasts won’t be pleased to see the third victim, a beautiful 3 Series E46 convertible facelift. The four-ton wrecking ball is roughly the same size as a young African elephant’s weight and lifted to 115 feet (about 35m) by the guys. They then simply tossed it over the windshield of their cabrio at a speed of 60 mph (98 km/h).

It is actually quite surprising to see cars such as the one above not falling apart after taking a huge hit from such a large wrecking ball. It’s a good tool for destroying houses, and its main purpose is to do so.

We won’t spoil the surprise at the end, but there’s something to be aware of. Enjoy!
