Take a look at the view.
There are some drawbacks to visiting the great outdoors from a campervan. Camper vans can be very close to nature, but they are not known for their spacious interiors. Texino wants to make space more practical in motorhomes, campers and travel trailers. The new Atrium camper van concept features a large bay window to the rear.
Texino is currently building it. However, design renderings show the final product. The camper’s futuristic design features include a bay window at its back and an angular styling. Its futuristic styling and geometric bay window at the back make it look modern.
The bay window inside houses the camper’s sitting area. It looks like it could convert into beds. This will allow for beautiful nighttime views as well as bright morning wake-ups. Although the renderings don’t show much beyond the large window, the camper has a kitchenette that includes a sink, stove and fridge. It looks like the bath is located between the cab and the kitchenette. The interior of the camper van is sealed off. The two spaces are separated by a door.
The Atrium will be riding on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis. It sports a bold design that is necessary for the geometric bay windows. The camper van’s slab-sided design also includes three portholes per side and two skylights at the roof. This allows for more light to enter. The camper is futuristic inside and out, while still packing all the essential camping gear.
Although it might not be the most practical campervan design, some people would enjoy the unique experiences offered by the windows. New products will be required to cater to the diverse customer base as more people travel in camper vans, motorhomes, or travel trailers. Atrium breaks down those barriers with its unique design and offers something different. We are eager to see Texino complete the concept. It might even make it into production.
