2018 Honda Accord Gets a Coupe and Wagon Virtual Makeover

It’s the wagon-coupe combo you didn’t know you wanted.

Honda dropped both the V6 and two-door versions of its Accord. However, the sedan was named North American Car of the year for 2018, further cementing its position as one of the greatest cars ever made. We still long for a world in which we can customize the Accord as we wish. Aksyonov Nikita, a Russian rendering artist, had the same idea. The Russian designer digitally imagined an Accord Coupe and Wagon, all in the name science.

The Accord Wagon is first. Although the rendering isn’t as attractive as other wagon concepts, such as the Kia Stinger GT – it adds an additional element of usability and versatility to a sedan already very versatile. While the front fascia has all its original styling elements, the fastback of the factory has been changed to provide a higher roof and more space for the boot.

In contrast, the coupe concept eliminates usability and opts for a more sporty theme. The rear doors have been changed for larger ones at the front. Overall, the body is more proportioned. Although the rendering isn’t as sporty looking as the previous coupe, it’s an improvement on the sedan’s already excellent styling.

Although it is unlikely that Honda will offer coupe and wagon versions of its new model, we dream of the duo being paired with Honda’s turbocharged 2.-liter engine. It produces 252 horsepower (187 Kilowatts) as well as 273 pound-feet (397 Newton-meters) torque in its most powerful trim.
