A coachbuilder is creating a limited edition Aston Martin Super Sport, according to a recent report.
Star Electric Cars France is helping to design and build the car, although details are scarce. Star is a well-known company that makes electric golf carts that look like Hummers, Cadillacs and Bentleys.
The SS will have a carbon fiber bodywork and scissor doors. It also has a DB9-inspired front. Recaro seats, leather / alcantara upholstery and carbon fiber trim will be featured in the interior.
A mid-mounted twin-turbo V8 5.4-liter with 800 to 953 hp will provide power. It will be linked to a 6-speed manual transmission (an F1 paddle shift will be available). This sends power to rear wheels via a limited slip differential.
Production will be limited only to eight units, and prices start at astonishing EUR7,000,000 ($9,630,000.140 USD).
