The fourth bespoke H1 by the company features a desert-runner theme and a larger size.
Detroit-based boutique automaker mil-Spec is determined to keep the very American and very cool Hummer H1 on American roads. We say “Thank you” to this. The 004, their latest vehicle, grabs the torch from the previous H1 builds and drives to a new location.
The 004 features a baja-inspired theme with “Desert Tan”, large 40-inch tires, and a duck canvas/black-leather interior. The 004 is also available in a four-door hardtop configuration. It was built with T6 aircraft quality aluminum.
Street-legal battleship powered by MSA’s Duramax 66.6-liter V8 that produces 500 horsepower (372 Kilowatts) & 1,000 lb (1,355 Newton meters) of torque. It is backed by an Allison 1000 six speed transmission. The H1’s exterior features include a Warn Winch package that can support 12,000 pounds, a heavy-duty rear step bumper, and a front brush guard. These add to its intimidating stature while providing protection. The H1’s offroad abilities are further enhanced by a powder-coated overhead tire rack, and MSA LED lighting. The total track width and body width increases by eight and seven inches respectively due to the increased size of tires and bodywork. This one is great for city streets.
Mil-Spec also highlights the H1’s luxurious interior. It includes a JL C5 premium sound system, marine-grade, hand-stitched, leather, power windows/doors, and an updated HVAC system. The cabin, which is leather-filled, will block out any noises you might be hearing.
