The new OETTINGER 500R has a power-weight ratio of 2.83 kg per HP, a legendary 3.4 second time under the State’s pace 100 and a top speed exceeding 300 km/h. The world premiere will celebrate the Super athletes. It features a 518 HP five-cylinder engine, four wheel drive and an aluminum front suspension. Sidney Hoffmann, a PS professional, will present the street-legal racecar at the OETTINGER Stand on May 13, at 14:00.
According to OETTINGER, “This car is not for the showroom.” This vehicle was designed to perform and must follow the curve. On the Worthersee, the infernal roar from the five-cylinder should not be heard.
OETTINGER 500R is available as a Special Edition. Although a price has not yet been determined, the OETTINGER 500R will be available in a Special Edition. He is expected to start at 150,000 Euros for the entry model. Soon, there will be more levels with 600, 625 and 750 Horsepower.
The OETTINGER 500R motor sport character combines technology and design. The appearance of the 500R super-sport car, which is a package-equipped racing design by OETTINGER, is the most impressive technical feature. The vehicle, which is based on the Gulf 7 R, has increased in width to 100mm.
Amazingly, the OETTINGER takes only 500R to develop. Between the debut at Worthersee and the first model, it took only three and a quarter months. Rolf Schepp, OETTINGER’s racing designer, has created the OETTINGER 500R design package. It was then put into action by four modellers. In the wind tunnel advance, the model has been tested.
The 500R, Friedrichsdorfer’s traditional tuner, is under the OETTINGER’s hood. The TFSI five-cylinder utilizes a 2.5 liter modified turbocharger and characteristics field customization to its engine control unit. High performance forged Pistons were also added to the intake manifold. VWR, the joint venture partner, provides the intake air leadership. The water cooling circuit was also modified. Engineers also made improvements to the water charge air cooling. The exhaust system was eventually revised. OETTINGER 500R features a hosepipe with sport catalysts and a double-from cat running race exhaust system. The clutch, gearbox and differential lock have been modified to allow for time hunting.
At 6100 RPM, the engine’s full power of 381kW (518 PS) is reached. At 3600 RPM, the maximum torque was 680 Nm. The Super Sport comes with a six-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive. It can go from standstill to 100 km/h in just four seconds. Only 300 km/h is the top speed.
OETTINGER is the technical exclamation mark at the brakes and axles. 500R on the OETTINGER is not a Groove/wheel extension. The Friedrichsdorfer is used on an aluminum front axle with a track width of 1607mm (Golf R series: 1549mm). The rear axle track bar is made from aluminium and has a track gauge 1578 mm (Golf R series: 1520mm), to name just a few. Six high-performance brake calipers with six pistons and two-piece ventilated, cross-drilled high-performance brake discs (380x34mm) are equipped with sports brake pads and steel braided brake lines for excellent deceleration. The wheelbase measures 2646mm (Golf R series: 2637mm).
Friedrichsdorfer riding a 3-way club suspension with race-valve technology from House of KW trust in terms of chassis. The Worthersee is adorned with the OETTINGER 500R, a forged ATS wheel measuring 10 x 20 inches, and Dunlop sport Maxx in 285/25 R20. OETTINGER can be used for trackdays on ATS racing wheels GTR 10×18 inches with Dunlop Direzza 285/30 R18.
OETTINGER, the self-confident OETTINGER, has another huge success 500R racing design package. The front bumper is widened with large air intakes. A genuine carbon splitter also draws attention. A double-sided upper vent is featured on the front grille. The developers also provided a vent to the engine compartment on the hood. The powerful front fenders are responsible for the wheel house leaking in the eye. The side skirts have real carbon flaps that reflect as eye-catchers. The rear wheel arch extensions were designed by the Friedrichsdorfer tuner (two and four Tuerern). At the rear, the striking signs include the widened skirt with the genuine-carbon diffuser, the Central exhaust cover and the powerful rear wings with their Aero flaps.
Get your lights on! Spot on! The OETTINGER carbon parts are available at your disposal. These parts are equipped with an ambient light feature, called “500R orange”.
The interior of the OETTINGER 500R is extravagant and athletic. The interior of the OETTINGER 500R is supersporty, with a leather interior and black Alcantara at the seat Central railways. The seams in orange contrast are sewn individually to match the exterior. The racing bucket seats have integrated head restraints. Belt passages are also available.
