It is finally here.

There are no more spy photos, leaked technical specifications or rumors. Toyota has confirmed that the all-new Land Cruiser will make its world debut on June 9. You can be sure Motor1.com will cover the big debut.

Toyota will only share this six-second clip for now. However, the video’s title reads “Teaser 1”, so we expect additional videos to be released in the next few days. An internal document leaked a few weeks ago revealing most of the Land Cruiser’s technical specifications.

The TNGA-F platform will see the LC300 lose its V8 engines. It will be replaced by a turbocharged 3.5L V6 gasoline engine and a 3.3L V6 diesel. The former will produce 409 horsepower (305kilowatts) as well as 480 pound-feet (651 Newton-meters), while the latter will produce 302 HP (225 kW) at 516 lb/ft (700 Nm). The transmission will transmit power to both axles via a ten-speed automatic transmission.

As far as size is concerned, it’ll depend on the trim level. The newcomer GR Sport It will measure 4,965 millimeters (195.4 in) long, while the highest-end trim level will measure 4,985 mm (196.2 inches). The new Land Cruiser will measure 1,945 mm (76.5 inches) high and 1,990 mm (78.3 inches) wide for the GR Sport. All versions will come with a 2,850mm (112.2in) wheelbase.

A confirmed aluminum roof was approved. The approach and departure angles, as well as the ground clearance, have largely been transferred from the LC200. To reduce weight, the fuel tank is 15 liters smaller than the V8 engines they replace. Since the rugged pickup will use much of the same underpinnings, the body-on-frame SUV can be used as an indirect preview for the new Tundra. Other goodies include a head-up display, four-zone automatic climate control, and an underbody camera for serious off-roading. The GR Sport is the only Land Cruiser LC300 model to feature the electronic Kinetic Dynamic Suppension System (KDSS), which has front and rear differential locks.
