Lexus has packed the SUV with so many standard features, there aren’t many options.
Lexus has taken a row out of the 570 to create a new version which allows buyers to carry more stuff, but less people. It comes with excellent equipment and starts at $85,380 for the two-row model. The big SUVs’ price increases by only $1,192 to $86,572 after destination, if you include all the options offered by the factory.
Two-row LX comes in six exterior colors: Eminent White Pearl (Satin Cashmere Metallic Beige), Atomic Silver (Nebula Gray Pearl), Nightfall Mica Blue (Black Onyx), and Atomic Silver. There are two options for interior: parchment leather with wood in Dark Mocha or black leather with espresso-colored trim. There are no options packages available.
There are a few standalone components available from Lexus, too. The most expensive upgrade is the $329 glass breakage sensor. This uses a microphone that detects if someone has broken into the vehicle, and activates the alarm. For $450, customers can add crossbars to the roof and all-weather mats for $149. Other options include wheel locks for $80 and a $65 rear cargo net. A $109 universal tablet holder is also available. Leather key gloves are $10.
Lexus does not list prices for several dealer-installed options. These include items such as a trailer hitch and paint protection.
The LX 570 two-row SUV comes standard with many premium features such as LED headlights, adaptive Cruise Control, and navigation. The SUV comes standard with a surround-view camera system and a driver assistance suite. The 5.7-liter V8 produces 383 horsepower (286 Kilowatts) as well as 403 pound-feet (546 Newton meters) of torque. Eight-speed automatic routes power through a full time four-wheel drive system that features a limited slip center differential and a manual locking feature. The cargo area is now 50.5 cubic feet (1.430 liters) instead of 44.7 cubic foot (1.266 liters), which was the original three-row version.
