2020 Jeep Scrambler Render Ready for The Real World

2020 Jeep Scrambler Render Ready for The Real WorldLet’s all hope Jeep’s new pickup looks like this.

Jeep enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the return of the Scrambler nameplate for 2019, with the new Wrangler now available. The badge will be displayed on the backside of Wrangler-based pickups for the first time since more than a decade.

The JeepScramblerForum user created the rendering. It looks ready to go. The vehicle is similar to many others – , including our own. It uses the JL Jeep Wrangler base and adds a useful bed to the already strong body. The standard Jeep retains features such as the front fascia and wheels, along with the headlights, fog lamps, and headlights.

The backside is also ready for production. Although the hourglass-shaped taillights of the Wrangler standard Wrangler still work, most of the rest of the components have been moved to the bed. This rendering shows the Jeep logo and Scrambler nameplate stamped into the rear tailgate.

The new Jeep Scrambler will share many visual elements with the Wrangler. It should also be equally capable and as powerful. The 2.0-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine found on the Wrangler should be used in the pickup, along with the entry-level 3.6 liter V6. Rumours suggest that a 3.0-liter turbodiesel-powered V6 will also be available. A plug in variant could also be included.

You can choose between a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic to manage all that power. A standard all-wheel drive will be available. However, a Rubicon version with more power and features such as locking differentials or a sway bar disconnect may also be offered. More information will be available when the Wrangler launches in 2019.
