Brabus gives the G-Class of the past a serious upgrade to make it even more off-road-friendly.

The new Mercedes-Benz G-Class has arrived and is even more on-road friendly. However, if you are looking for an off-roader with proven capabilities, Brabus offers the Adventure 4×42 which uses the G550 4×42 as a base point.

Brabus adds carbon fiber to the G550 4×42. It looks great! The lightweight material is used by the firm for the dual snorkels and spare tire carrier. This rig can be climbed on with ease thanks to power running boards.

There’s an LED strip on the roof, and two spotlights at each end for nighttime adventures. The large roof rack offers plenty of space for gear storage. A winch on the front can help you pull the SUV out of the water if you are stuck.

The Adventure 4×42 is powered by a Mercedes-AMG 4.0-liter biturbo engine with 542 horsepower (404 kw), 590 pound-feet (590 Newton-meters) and 542 lb-ft (590 ps). The seven-speed automatic transmits the power to the all-wheel-drive system. To reach speeds of 62 miles an hour (100 km per hour), the SUV takes 6.7 seconds.

The interior is filled with high-end leather. A control panel is located in the middle console that allows you to adjust how the suspension handles the road.
