With plenty of room, you can fit all the Aston Martin models on your driveway.
It is long past the time when car manufacturers only wanted to make products with four wheels. This is especially true for luxury brands. Aston Martin is the best example, with its separate design division for products other than automotive. This new product is priced at $7.7 million, after we saw the $74,000 racing simulator.
Sylvan Rock, a private estate that was developed by S3 Architecture and Aston Martin Design is located on a 55-acre plot of wooded land about two hours from Manhattan. It is a “new standard for rural retreats, blending craft and health and wellness, multifunctional ‘pods’, sustainability, and sustainability with true luxury of space and privacy.
The home’s marketing speak aside, it features a beautiful blackened cedar façade and floor-to ceiling glazing that enhances the feeling of openness. The estate spans 8,430 square feet. The house is 5,983 square. The estate also includes a pool house, a treehouse and three guest houses “pods”.
The house has a 3 car garage and a 2,000-foot long driveway. The images below show a wine cellar on the lower level that can store Gaydon’s first SUV, the DBX. Aston Martin designed all the metal, wood and leather surfaces in the house. The end result is stunning.
Sylvan Rock is the latest example of Aston Martin’s willingness to venture outside its comfort zone to tackle new markets. It teamed up to launch a new helicopter with Airbus at the start of the year. Previous examples of products that don’t have wheels included speedboats, bikes, and blocks of flats in Miami.
