Honda and GM vehicles are joining the fray.
Hot Wheels has been synonymous with crazy tracks and die-cast toys for more than 50 years. Most likely, you’ve owned one in the past.
NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, have been a big hit since the start of the cryptocurrency pandemic. NFTs can be described as serialized items that are available in the digital universe and which can then sold using cryptocurrencies.
Hot Wheels also has a cryptocurrency presence with the NFT Garage, which it launched through Worldwide Asset Exchange (WAX). The Series 1 was sold last year and the companies are back with a second installment.
The Hot Wheels NFT Garage Series 2, which now includes 10 licensed vehicles models from the various Mini-Collections, is the first. The action is spread across Hot Wheels Car Meet Hot Wheels Flames and Rod Squad. Two iconic automobiles from automakers are also involved.
GM vehicles, including the 1991 GMC Syclone and 1971 Buick Riviera, as well as the 1955 Chevy Bel Air Gasser and Corvette C8.R, are available for purchase. The Honda S2000 and the Honda Civic TypeR, which are both Japanese, represent the Japanese side of the equation, as well as the Custom 2001 Acura Integra GSR and 1990 Acura NSX.
Hot Wheels NFT Garage Series 2 is similar to Series 1. Buyers can get a die-cast toy in the form of a Hot Wheels NFT Garage Series 2. This includes four cars: Custom Otto (Hybrid S2000), Corvette C8.R. Aristo Rat and 1955 Chevy BelAir Gasser.
Series 2 will retain the four rare types of Series 1, but there is an additional Showroom with a pull chance just 0.14 percent. There are up to 184.250 NFT cards in Series 2.
Hot Wheels NFT Garage Series 2 will be on sale starting March 31, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. ET. You can unbox your Hot Wheels NFT Garage Series 2 at 4:00 p.m. ET ET. Each pack of seven collectible NFTs is priced at $25 USD. Each credit card transaction can be used to purchase as many as four packs.
