It will be given to one lucky New York City resident.
A supercar is not the same thing as a minivan for the soccer team. The experience of buying a hypercar is quite different when you spend hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. Look at the McLaren Senna. This is a custom creation made for the first North American customer. It is absolutely stunning.
Michael Fux, a New York City resident, requested that McLaren Special Operations create a comprehensive list of custom content. The Senna’s most distinctive feature is its exterior paint. It is a custom Fux Green color that tints carbon-fiber bodies, allowing for the intricate weave to shine through. The body is made up of 67 parts and takes nearly 1,000 hours to make. Additional exterior features include blue and red center lock nuts for the wheels and ball-polished tires.
The cabin’s carbon is also tinted by the “Fux Green”. Contrast the deep green with the white leather seats and accents as well as the steering wheel. The rear-view mirror and door struts are painted in green, while the headliner is carbon black Alcantara.
Tony Joseph, President of McLaren North America, stated that “We are pleased to be here to officially delivery the first McLaren Senna” in a statement. McLaren has created this special car, which is engineered to be the best road-legal track car ever made. We know owners love to drive their cars around the circuit and are eager to see them get behind the wheel.
It’s just one part of the package. The Senna’s biturbocharged, 4.0-liter V7 generates 789 horsepower and 590 pounds-feet torque. This propels the McLaren to 60 mph from a standstill in just 2.7 seconds. It takes 6.8 seconds to reach 124 mph. An active front aero blade and an active rear wings provide stability and upto 1,763.7 pounds of downforce.
Fux’s McLaren supercars will be joined by the “Fux Green”, Senna, a McLaren Orange 12C and a McLaren Purple 12C Spider. The “Fux Green McLaren Senna” will be on display at The Quail next month during Monterey Car Week.
