Mark Wahlberg Enters the Car Business and Opens a Chevy Dealer in Ohio

Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet is the first dealership to carry the actor’s name, but it won’t be the last.

Mark Wahlberg has another career when he gets too old to run from alien robots and save the world. Jay Feldman, a Detroit-area franchisee, has been partnered with Wahlberg to open a Chevrolet dealership in Columbus.

Bobby Layman Chevrolet will be replaced by Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet’s new showroom. The dealership’s website already features the actor’s face and name. They also promise to have “central Ohio’s largest inventory” of new Chevrolets.

Wahlberg stated that he is constantly looking for new ways to improve my brand and engage with businesses that are important to him. I love cars, and Jay is an experienced dealer-operator who has proven his expertise and represents an iconic brand such as Chevrolet motivated me to get involved.

Wahlberg’s venture outside of his home is not the only one. Wahlberg’s burger chain Wahlburgers is available in many locations across the United States, including Palo Alto (California) and Orlando, Florida. The Ohio Chevy dealer will use the same “W” logo as Wahlberg’s burger chains.

Wahlberg will not be the only Chevy dealer to have Wahlberg’s name on it. Feldman confirmed that the couple are currently looking for a second location. However, it is not clear if they will stay in Ohio or expand to other parts of the country. Feldman stated that the Wahlberg brand is all American. “Joining forces with Mark Wahlberg to sell and service Chevrolets allows us to do something unique for Ohio and the greater Columbus region.”
