We are not disappointed with the final product.
The wide-body BMW M3 E46 we spotted last month is still in our thoughts. It looks like it has a brother. However, this one isn’t quite as controversial as the Bavarian two door. Anderson Composites has given a body treatment to a prefacelift Chevy Camaro SS that will give the incoming 2019 Camaro SS a run for it money.
The Camaro SS is lighter than the stock model thanks to the use of body trims made from carbon fiber materials. Carbon fiber treatments begin with the hood and continue down to the rocker panels. This is the result of the rear spoiler, rear valve, and rear spoiler.
The result is a stunning car. The Camaro SS comes with a set 19-inch CCW CVM10 wheels. The rear wheels are two inches thicker than those on the front. The cherry on the top is a set of Continental ExtremeDW tire.
The Camaro SS has very little upgrade, other than RPM 6pt roll bar and Sparco Pro 2000 seats.
Camaro SS is more than just a cosmetic makeover. Performance parts were also added to the suspension and brakes. The Camaro SS is fitted with JRI Shocks and Detroit Speed Coil Overs as well as Eibach Springs. Front wheels are equipped with Wilwood Aerolight rotors that have a six-piston Wilwood Aerolight rotor of 15 inches. Four pistons are available for the rear wheels.
The Camaro SS hood is also updated. Injen has upgraded the intake system. SCT Livewire Tuner and Hurst Shift kit have been added, as well as SLP Performance parts. We don’t have the output numbers after the engine upgrades. A Corsa exhaust is also available for your listening pleasure.
