You can find even more vibrant shades inside.
The new Yellow Edition by Lexus brightens the LC range in Europe. The exterior of the grand tourers is painted Vibrant Flare Yellow and the interior features matching stitching and door panels. It will make its debut at the Paris Motor Show in Oct and will go on sale by the end fall for the -LC 500 as well as the -LC Hybrid. The U.S. edition is not yet confirmed by Lexus spokespersons.
A set of 21-inch forged wheels featuring V-shaped spokes is included in the special LC. Exposed carbon fiber is found on the roof, rear spoiler and door sill plates. Vibrant Flare Yellow is found inside in Alcantara with a wide pattern running along the doors. The only option for the 10-way power-adjustable seat is white semi-aniline leather upholstery. The cabin is finished with a head-up display that adds high-tech flair and an Alcantara headliner.
To make the Grand Tourer more versatile, the Yellow Edition comes standard with the Sport+ package. You will find four-wheel steering, Torsen limited slip differential, and Lexus Dynamic handling with Variable Gear Ratio Steering.
Although the package does not affect the LC’s engine, Lexus reportedly plans to launch a hotter version in the near future. Spy photos have already shown the variant testing. The front fascia has been heavily modified with large intakes. The new biturbo V8 of 4.0-liter capacity is said to produce 621 horsepower (463kW) which is a significant improvement over the 471 hp (351kW) naturally aspirated V8.
Rumours also suggest that Lexus might add an LC convertible to the range. However, there aren’t any spy shots. A droptop would make sense, since there aren’t any currently in the Lexus lineup.
