BlueMotion technology reduces emissions and fuel-economy on the Multivan, while the Edition 25 celebrates its 25th anniversary.

Volkswagen’s Multivan BlueMotion and Edition 25 Multivan have been unveiled in Geneva by Volkswagen.

Multivan BlueMotion offers significant improvements in fuel economy for big 7-passenger vehicles. BlueMotion technology delivers a 2.0 liter TDI that produces 114 PS (84 kW / 113 bhp), and 250 Nm (2184 lbft) of torque. It also has a 6.4 liters/100km fuel-economy rating. CO2 emissions are just 169 g/km.

BlueMotion is a system that charges the Multivan’s battery with energy from regenerative brake. It also includes a stop/start and stop/start systems.

Edition 25 celebrates the 25th anniversary. The Edition 25 features a matte black roof, and black 18-inch alloy tires. Black door handles, matte-black paint on the underside and sides of the front bumper, as well as black decal trim at each end, are some other distinguishing features.

You can contrast all that black with one of three exterior finishes: Candy White, Salsa Rouge or Metallic Silver.
