Square is trendy.
Liberty Walk is well-known for its bizarre body kits. We mean large body designs that have massive fender flares, which create gravity wells large sufficient to swallow tires and wheels whole. Although the style is definitely not for everyone, the SUV market is a good place to start. Liberty Walk’s latest offering is a step in that direction, but don’t expect to see anything extravagant, such as a Range Rover and Porsche Cayenne. That’s a Suzuki Jimny that is featured on the tuner’s Facebook page.
You won’t be surprised to see a similarity between the Mercedes-Bens G-Class and this one. You can actually see the Liberty Walk upgrade on the G63 by clicking through the photos Liberty Walk has included in this post.
Although we don’t know much about the Jimny’s modifications, the photos speak for themselves. It’s obvious that the Suzuki’s square shape lends itself to a G Class makeover. This side-by-side comparison gives you an idea of Liberty Walk’s activities.
The fender flares have been redesigned, and the grille has been replaced. The carbon-fiber treatment appears to have been applied to the hood, while the roof receives the necessary visors and lip to match the beefy Merc. We see upgraded wheels and a side exit exhaust under the runningboard.
This Jimny photo is all we have. While we assume that this body kit is legitimate – the Jimny has been very popular in Euro and Japanese markets – it sure seems to be a departure form the rides we are used to seeing at Liberty Walk. A new Jimny has just been unveiled so now is the right time to reveal such a creation. We’re hoping to hear from the tuning company soon with more information about this Mini G-Wagen.
