German magazine Auto Bild leaked photos of the next-generation F10 M5 and F10 M6.
These photos of the 2012 BMW (F10) M5 were leaked by the German car magazine Auto Zeitung.
These photos feature a muscular M5 dressed in Monte Carlo Blue and sporting 20-inch wheels. You can compare the differences between the ‘official M5’ and the Concept M5 from a few months ago.
The next M5’s power output specs will be 560 PS (412kW / 552bhp) as well as 680 Nm (552 lb-ft), which is the torque output of a twin-turbo, 4.4-liter V8. The M-Drivers-Package will make it go from 0 to 100 km/h (62.2 mph) in 4.4 seconds. It will also go 0-20 km/h (124 MPH) in 13 seconds. Top speed is 305 km/h (189.9 mph). There will be a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed DCT transmission.
An official media release will be issued early next week. It will make its public debut at the M Festival, which takes place on June 23 at Nurburgring.
