They are rolling Mopar ads.
The SEMA show is where automakers and aftermarket tuners go to showcase their latest and greatest accessories. For several days of automotive excess, concept to finished products descend on Las Vegas. Ram will bring 14 customized rides to the show. The automaker will highlight two concepts before the show begins: the Big Horn “Low Down” and Rebel concepts. Both concepts will be displayed at the brand’s 15,345-square foot exhibit.
The Ram 1500 Rebel concept features both Mopar accessories as well as conceptual products. Rebel Smoke is a custom-made blue exterior color for the Rebel. A Moper lift kit, which raises the Ram 2 inches for more ground clearance, adds to the truck’s tough exterior. Mopar Ram Airflow cold air intake gives the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 an unspecified performance boost.
The Rebel’s 18-inch satin-black wheels are wrapped in 35-inch Goodyear DuraTrac tires. Mopar offroad running boards and a conceptual performance Hood are other exterior upgrades. There is also a Ram bar built into the bed that has five 5-inch LED lights. Mopar’s rear spare tire carrier, spray-in bedliner and five-inch gloss black Mopar exhaust tips are some other features. There’s also a wireless charging system, a conceptual pedal kit and door sill guards that can be polished or brushed. The Rebel concept includes more than 200 Mopar parts.
The Ram 1500 Big Horn “Low Down” Rebel is its polar opposite. It features a prototype suspension that lowers it by two inches. The 1500 Big Horn 1500 Big Horn has 22-inch wheels with gloss black and brass monkey accents. The truck’s most distinctive feature is its one-piece Mopar hard-tonneau cover. It is gloss black. The Big Horn features a 5.7-liter Hemi engine and a Mopar Ram Airflow cold air intake.
All Ram and Big Horn badges are colored gloss black, while the exterior is two-tone: black and silver. Mopar concept wheel flares are the same color as the exterior. The exterior features are completed by five-inch black exhaust tips. The Big Horn interior features all-weather floor mats, a concept pedal kit, and brushed or polished door sill guards.
Expect SEMA to feature a variety of exciting reveals, from production-ready accessories to wild concepts to production-ready designs. These two trucks won’t be the only things coming from Mopar.
