Facelift refers to significant changes in the Passat CC, including new front and back fascias.
Volkswagen has seen the 2012 Passat CC model in person before it debuts at the Los Angeles motorshow later this month.
This substantial redesign features redesigned front and rear ends that match Volkswagen’s new design paradigm. These details include new bumper fascias, grilles, and headlamps with LEDs.
The Volkswagen CC in Europe will come with two TDI diesels (with Stop/Start technology for battery charging) – the 2.0 liter TDI with either 103 kW / 140 PS / 138 hp, or 125 kW / 170PS / 168 hp.
The petrol side will have engine units that produce 160 PS (118kW/158 HP), 210 PS(155kW/208HP) and 300 PS (220kW/296 hp).
The Volkswagen CC North America will be available with 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp), and 280 PS (277 kW / 277 hp) petrol units. A 140 PS (103 kW / 138 hp), TDI will be also available.
Official unveiling of the 2012 Volkswagen CC at the Los Angeles Auto Show will take place on November 18. The model will go on sale in Germany in February 2012, and will then be available in other markets worldwide
