Front Engine McLaren 765LT Rendering Doesn't Look Half Bad

Another fictional 812 Superfast competitor is here.

We featured last week a front-engine Lamborghini Aventador rendering which imagines a Ferrari812 Superfast competitor – which is very different from what happened with the mid-engine Chevy corvette.

This particular rendering was a surprise to many, while others were shocked at the idea. It is understandable, as Lamborghini has been making rear-engined supercars ever since the Miura. Therefore, it would be difficult for the brand to go back to a front engine, rear-wheel drive platform.

However, this is the essence of these fictional renderings. They allow us to see what brands will do in the future. These edits do not imply that they are happening. These edits are not intended to tell you that they are actually happening.

Here’s another what if that we have found. A front-engine McLaren765LT rendering by J.B.Cars was created and isn’t bad at all. Although the rear rendering is a bit strange, it’s perfectly acceptable. This is just a fictional rendering.

McLaren has never produced a front-engined vehicle as an independent automaker. We have seen a front-engined McLaren GT rendering brakes before, and it didn’t look half as bad.

We are now asking: Do you think that the British marque might have plans to create a front-engined grand touring car to compete against the Aston Martin DBS SUPERLEggera. It will likely take many years to find out, but if it does, it will be a fascinating rivalry.
