Although it is expensive, the new coupe produces 405 horsepower.
You can purchase a used BMWM2. The new Competition model is more powerful than the one you have. This coupe, which produces 405 horsepower (302kilowatts), borrows the biturbo-inline-six engine from the M3 or M4 and is paired with a standard six speed manual gearbox. The price starts at $58,900, but you can get it with the online configurator.
The exterior paint job is the first option. The M2 Competition is standardly painted in Alpine White, but there are four options: Black Sapphire (pictured here), Long Beach Blue (pictured here), Hockenheim Silver (pictured here), and Sunset Orange. There are two options available: 19-inch forged-black units or 19 inch silver units with black inserts. These can also be purchased at no additional cost.
Black Dakota leather is standard in the cabin with either orange or blue stitching. Black high-gloss trim is available with chrome accents, carbon fiber and black high-gloss trim. The $1,200 Executive Pack adds wireless charging, WiFi hotspot, speed limit information, adaptive full LED headlights and automatic high beams to your vehicle.
Although there are fewer options than others, the BMWs that do offer them are expensive. The moonroof costs $1,050 and the M Driver’s package costs $2,500. A seven-speed double-clutch transmission costs $2,900. The final price includes $20 for the BMW M logo or BMW roundel stem caps. The BMW M2 Competition is priced at $67,120, including $995 destination.
