The plain five-door hatch body is gone, and in comes the sporty two seat spider.
Skoda’s lineup doesn’t offer much excitement, except for a few hot models like the Octavia RS and Kodiaq RS. Although the Czech brand is able to build spacious cars with lots of “Simply Clever”, features, while still being cheaper than its VW Group siblings models, they aren’t as appealing as a golf GTI or Cupra Leon.
The 20-inch wheels may look familiar if you are looking for a Kodiaq RSS. The Nurburgring’s fastest SUV, with seven seats. Two humps are found behind the seats in spider-like fashion. They extend all the way back to where Skoda’s skilled apprentices have placed a glossy black spoiler.The weight of the Slavia has been reduced to 1,210 kilograms (2.667 pounds) by removing the roof and rear doors. The Slavia is lighter than a regular Scala and features modified front and back aprons. Additionally, configurable LEDs are mounted below the side sills from the Scala Monte Carlo. The Slavia features a 320-watt sound system that includes a 2,250-watt subwoofer and a pair body-hugging seats with four-point harness.
The 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine transmits 150 horsepower to front wheels via a seven speed DSG, much like the Scala. A modified exhaust system is the only thing that has been changed beneath the skin. Skoda does not provide any details as to whether or not this will affect performance. The speedster is a great car, but it will be a one-off just like the six other cars Skoda apprentices made in the past. The concept’s name is derived from Vaclav Laurin, Vaclav Klement, one of Skoda’s founder fathers.
