Ford opted for a comparable-sized crossover that offered exceptional performance. The Porsche Macan compact crossover is one of the most performance-oriented on the market. It has remarkable balance and a determined bite when turning on twisty roads. The Mach-E offers the same feel and the pricing structure is slightly lower than the Porsche. However, the EV ‘Stang looks even more impressive. This story has an interesting twist. The traditional Mustang is one vehicle that was not used to benchmark Mach-E. This could cause pony car enthusiasts to lament the Mustang branding on Mach-E. However, we think a base Mach-E model is infinitely more fun to drive than a 1979 Fox Body Mustang with four cylinders and an automatic transmission.
