The Bronze Edition comes in the exclusive color Cement Grey or Wind Chill Pearl. This is a new shade to the 2022 Highlander range. The exterior color of the crossover is irrelevant. It comes with 18-inch wheels and has a five-spoke design. The inside has more changes. The cabin features bronze-colored stitching and illuminated sill plates in matching colors. Toyota claims that the seats have textured inserts in their center. However, we find it hard to believe that Toyota has taken inspiration from mid-century modern style. A bronze logo is added to the cargo and floor mats.

The Bronze Edition includes equipment normally only available on the Highlander Hybrid’s higher trim levels. A hands-free power hatchback, rain sensing windshield wipers and a digital rearview reflector are included. There is also a 1,500-watt power outlet, puddle lamps with the Highlander logo, ambient lighting in the car, and a 10-way driver’s seat. There are a few improvements to the 2022 Highlander XLE and higher grades. They also appear on Bronze Edition. Changes include tilt and height adjustments for the passenger seat, which now has power-actuated height.

The powertrain is not affected by the special edition. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with hybrid assistance produces 243 horsepower (181 kilowatts). With front-wheel drive, the system achieves 36 mpg combined fuel economy. People who desire extra traction can opt for all-wheel drive, but it only reduces the fuel economy to 35 mpg.
