BMW already caters to those who have a great thirst for power. They offer a Competition version of their . But what if 617 horses is still enough? G-Power is the answer. The M5 is already a supercar disguised in a four-door sedan. However, its twin-turbo V8 4.4-liter engine has been tuned to produce a staggering 789 horsepower or 172 more than the Competition.

This is not all. The torque has increased dramatically to 723 pound-feet (980 Nm), or 170 lb (230 Nm), more than the Competition. How is this possible? G-Power explained that it implemented hardware and software upgrades such as stronger turbochargers, and a remapped ECU. Bavaria’s missile on wheels now has a titanium exhaust system and quad 100mm carbon-titanium tips.

The G-Power’s BMW M5 can reach speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds with all the improvements. It’s not bad for a car that weighs almost two tons. It can reach speeds of more than 208 mph (or 335 kph).

Only the stock wheels were replaced by custom 21-inch wheels with double-spoke designs. The tuner didn’t alter the car’s design. To denote that this is not an ordinary M5, subtle body decals and a plaque are placed on the center console.

G-Power was founded in 1983 and is an expert in BMW tuning. It currently holds several records, including the record for fastest road-going BMW, a 730-horsepower BMW M5 that reached 224 mph (360 km/h). Another M5 with 660 horsepower is the fastest LPG-fueled car, reaching a staggering 207 mph (333 km/h).
