Who said war machines couldn’t be friendly towards the environment?

It is true that when you are asked to integrate an M61 Vulcan, a rotary gun that can fire 6,600 rounds per minute of 20-millimeter ammunition, pickup trucks will be the first thing that comes to your mind. Black Rifle Coffee Company (BRCC), however, disagrees and installs an M61 Vulcan in a Toyota Prius. Why? Refer to the above quote.

BRCC’s mental project required 160+ man-hours to complete. This included the removal of the interior of the car to make way for a roll cage to “support various types of weaponry.” This Prius can carry any heavy artillery.

The M61 Vulcan is a six-barrel rotary gun that can burn $180,000 per minute. It is common on F16, F18 and F22 fighter jets. How? How? Ouch!

BRCC modified the M61 Vulcan’s workings in order to make it more environmentally friendly. The Prius is partially electric so BRCC ensured that the M61 Vulcan, which was F16-sourced, would fire using electric primers. It also uses a linkless ammunition system that converts its hydraulic system to electric.

It was hard to imagine the difficulties faced by BRCC when completing this project. It was difficult enough to convert a Prius into war machinery, but imagine what it would be like to transform a high-powered artillery weapon into an electric-powered weapon. Why? Because Raptors can be expensive.
