At Grattan Raceway, Belding (Mich.), it set the record for fastest lap in 1:33.70. It had the best combination in acceleration, braking and handling. The ECU was remapped to allow for a higher top speed of 151 mph (243 km/h).
The evaluation showed that the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 produced 370 horsepower (375 PS/275 kW) as well as 390 lb.ft (528 Nm) of torque.

The Charger Pursuit was equipped with a Pentastar V-6 engine that produced 292 horsepower (296 PS / 217kW) and 260lb.-ft (352 Nm). It also had the best average times for naturally aspirated (6-cylinder police cars) (1:37.71 and 1:37.57), respectively. It was able to achieve up to 27 MPG (highway) using gasoline.
