Ram 3500 Chassis Cab Harvest Edition starting at $43,900
Today’s trucks are more expensive than luxury cars, with some models and trims selling for over $50,000. There is still a small group of people who require a truck that can do the job. The 2018 Ram Cab Harvest Edition is for them. Available in the 3500, 4500 and 5500 chassis cabs, the Harvest Edition pickup is also available in Case IH Red, New Holland Blue, Brilliant Black, and Bright White.
Ram was the first manufacturer to offer Chassis-cab commercial trucks in colors that match the two most popular lines in farm equipment, in response to a farmer’s direct request,” stated Jim Morrison, Head, Ram Brand, FCA North America. “The Ram Harvest Edition Chassis Cab is high-powered and allows farmers to show their loyalty to agricultural brands.”
The 3500 can be ordered with either single or dual rear wheels, while the 4500 and 5500 come with only two rear wheels. The 5550 and 4500 are available in 60-inch or 80 inch cab-to axle lengths. There are two-door Regular Cab and a four-door Crew Cab. You can choose from either the Cummins 6.7-liter turbo-diesel or the Hemi V8 at 6.4 liters.
The Harvest Edition Chassis Cab has plenty of power, and many amenities and technology. The vehicle comes equipped with large front tow hooks and a transfer-case skidplate. Side steps, fog lights and a backup camera are also included. The 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen radio comes with navigation and Apple Car Play, Android Auto and 4G Wi–Fi. A seven-inch reconfigurable cluster displays vital information such as engine hours, filter life, operating temperatures, and engine filter life. Mirrors, door handles and chrome headlights are some of the exterior features.
Ram Harvest Edition Chassis Cabs start at $43,990 on the Ram 3500, $48,140 on the Ram 4500 and $49,240 on the Ram 5500. Prices do not include the $1,695 destination fee. The Ram Chassis Cab Harvest Edition 2018 will be available in the third quarter 2018.
