SCG 003S To New York Auto Show with 320 Changes

The construction of the third customer car is ongoing.

Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus is a Low-Volume Manufacturer and has been producing examples of its 003S supercar for more than two decades. A new version of the (Stradale), has been announced by the company. It will be presented at the New York Auto Show in March with more than 325 improvements.

Although the automaker didn’t give any details on the modifications, it said they were made to make the supercar “a more usable car on the road.” This hint suggests that some comfort features will be modified to improve everyday useability. Glickenhaus claims that it is building the third customer model of the 003S, and the other two examples will be upgraded in the near future.

The manufacturer currently delivers vehicles only in the United States, where it has enough production capacity for 2020. SGC’s vehicles are legal in the UK, however, Glickenhaus states that all its vehicles can be built with the steering wheel shown to the right. This includes RHD and manual gearbox configurations.

The twin-turbo, 4.4-liter V8 of the SCG003S produces over 750 horsepower (559 Kilowatts) as well as 590 pound-feet (890 Newton-meters). The hypercar can travel 60 mph (100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds. It can also reach a top speed exceeding 217 mph (350 km/h) when equipped with a sevenspeed dual-clutch auto.

Prices in the United States currently start at $2million. We’ll find out if there have been any changes for the updated model in April.
